Little Whale Therapy LLC is looking for a full-time or part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to provide home- and childcare center-based speech, language, and feeding therapy to children. This role serves families through the Illinois Early Intervention Program as well as private pediatric clients. We prioritize collaborating with families as a primary component in the therapeutic process. We are committed to your professional growth. Position Requirements

  • Master’s Degree from an ASHA-accredited program

  • Active Illinois Speech-Language Pathology license in good standing

  • Early Intervention Specialist credential

  • Driver's license and personal vehicle with insurance

  • Strong knowledge of child development

  • Eagerness to work collaboratively with families and other professionals

  • Interest in becoming a contributing member of a growing team

  • Experience and understanding of child-led, play-based, responsive intervention

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills


Position Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, develop goals, and provide evidence-based treatment interventions for children.

  • Participate in the Early Intervention Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) process, including attending meetings, communicating with team members, evaluating outcomes, and writing reports.

  • Independently manage a caseload and schedule.

  • Complete timely and accurate documentation.
