Courtney graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree from Northwestern University and her Master’s Degree from University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Courtney holds Illinois Early Intervention Specialist and Evaluator credentials, and is a Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC). Since finishing her degrees, she has provided home- and daycare/school-based services for infants, toddlers, and children in Chicago. With advanced coursework in pediatric speech therapy with a focus on early language acquisition, childhood apraxia of speech, feeding therapy, and lactation counseling, Courtney is well-versed in evaluation and treatment of childhood speech, language, and feeding disorders.

Cait graduated with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds an Illinois license and Early Intervention Specialist credential. Cait has provided speech and language therapy to infants, toddlers, and school-age children in a variety of settings including daycares and preschools, outpatient clinics, and in clients’ homes. Cait enjoys working with young children and helping them develop their language skills through play-based therapy and building strong relationships with families.

Rosalie earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire and her Master’s degree from the University of Wisconsin Stevens Point. She began her career providing speech therapy to school-age children before transitioning to Early Intervention with Little Whale Therapy. Rosalie holds her Illinois license and an Early Intervention Specialist credential. She is passionate about supporting young children’s communication development through play-based, engaging therapy. Rosalie values building strong, collaborative relationships with families and believes that partnership is key to helping children thrive.

Erica earned her Bachelor’s degree from Butler University and her Master’s degree from DePaul University. She holds an Illinois license and Early Intervention Specialist credential. Erica has lived in the midwest her entire life, growing up in the northern suburbs. Before joining the Little Whale Therapy team, Erica worked with school-aged children on functional communication and augmentative and alternative communication (AAC). Erica loves helping children learn through play and supporting families with ideas to expand language during their everyday routines.

Abigail "Abby" graduated from Northwestern University with her Bachelor’s in Communication Sciences and Disorders and from University of Kentucky with her Master’s in Speech and Language Pathology. Though she grew up in Lexington, Kentucky, Abby recently returned to the Chicagoland area to begin her career in Speech and Language Pathology. She holds her Illinois license and Early Intervention Specialist credential. Abby has provided play-based, neurodiversity-affirming, and child-led therapy across multiple settings to support children and their families in meeting their communication and feeding related goals. She is thrilled to work with the families of Lake County in supporting their children’s' communication development!

Adrianna graduated from Illinois State University with both her Bachelor’s and Master’s Degrees. Adrianna is fluent in Polish and has provides bilingual evaluations and treatment. Adrianna holds her Illinois license and her Early Intervention Specialist credential. Since finishing her degrees, she has worked as a speech-language pathologist in early childhood classrooms and provided home-based services for infants and toddlers in areas of speech, language, and feeding. She is excited to work closely with families in the Chicago suburbs to help them meet their children’s goals.

Sarah is a bilingual English/Spanish-speaking SLP with over 20 years of experience working with pediatric populations. She received her Bachelor's degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Northwestern University and her Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from St. Xavier University. Sarah has been recognized by the U.S. Department of Education for her contributions to the preparation of bilingual SLPs. Sarah believes that language comprehension and expressive communication skills are among the most important foundational skills a child should master in order to achieve academic and social success throughout life, so she takes great care in preparing and executing therapy sessions in a developmentally-appropriate and individualized manner while taking learning styles, interests, family needs, and functional goals into account.

Grace grew up in Lake Bluff, Illinois. She earned her Bachelor’s degree from Texas Christian University and her Master’s degree from Northwestern University. In addition to her Illinois license and Early Intervention Specialist credential, Grace is certified in Lee Silverman Voice Therapy (LSVT) LOUD for Kids. Grace is passionate about delivering child-led, neurodiversity-affirming therapy that is play-based and family-centered.
