Little Whale Therapy offers speech, language, and feeding evaluation and treatment for infants, toddlers, and children in Lake Forest, Lake Bluff, and nearby communities. Little Whale Therapy provides functional, evidence-based speech and feeding therapy to support your child and family.
We work with families and collaborate with your child’s medical and/or educational team to develop a therapy plan to support your child’s speech, language, and/or feeding goals. Sessions are play- and routine-based and focused on your priorities for your child. Therapy sessions can be in your home, at a daycare or private school, or via teletherapy.
Little Whale Therapy provides assessment and treatment of speech, language, and feeding disorders including:
Expressive language disorders
Receptive language disorders
Articulation disorders
Phonological disorders
Childhood apraxia of speech
Feeding disorders
Pragmatic and social language disorders
Lactation counseling
Little Whale Therapy is credentialed with the state of Illinois to evaluate and treat through Illinois Early Intervention. Early Intervention provides multidisciplinary therapy services for infants and toddlers from birth through age three.

Billing & Payment
Little Whale Therapy is a contracted provider with Illinois Early Intervention, which serves children age 0-3. We are an in in-network provider for Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO and Aetna PPO. We are registered as out-of-network/non-participating providers for Cigna, United Healthcare, and Humana Military (TRICARE East). Families are responsible for all co-pays, co-insurances and applicable uncovered charges. For self-pay clients, payment is due at the time of service. Per our contracts with insurance companies, contracted rates for services are confidential and cannot be published here. Estimates of out-of-pocket costs are always provided prior to starting services.
